Atlético de Madrid collaborates with STEPN to launch the Genesis NFT collection. The initiative is a collaboration between Atlético, WhaleFin, Amber Group’s reference platform, main sponsor and official digital wealth and digital lifestyle partner of the club. This will be the Spanish club’s first digital asset offering.
The Atlético de Madrid Genesis NFT is a collection of 1,001 soccer shoes. They are categorized in the rarity levels Common, Uncommon and Rare. Anyone who owns them will receive unique benefits on the WhaleFin app. In addition, STEPN members who equip themselves with the non-fungible tokens will earn more rewards for walking.
Details of the Atlético de Madrid Genesis NFT Collection
The Atletico de Madrid Genesis NFT Collection sale will take place on August 26. This event will take place on the WhaleFin Application. Interested participants will have to register on this platform. However, only 200 shoes will be launched. 180 pieces will be shared through WhaleFin, while STEPN will distribute the remaining 20 to its members. The Atlético de Madrid Foundation will use 10% of the proceeds to build international schools.
Of the 1,0001 boots in this repository, 850 are Common. This digital asset class will immortalize periods when the club won national and international titles. It will focus on key details such as when and where these events took place. In addition, there will be 140 non-common boots that will represent the stadiums. Finally, there will be 11 rare boots. These items will reference the footballers who put their bodies on the line to defend the club every game day.
