Over the past few months, Life Beyond alpha players, the Agents as they are known in the game, have been busy completing missions on the surface of the planet. This hard work has paid off with additional content, as well as new equipment to try out in the field. And, on October 12, a big after party will be held to celebrate the agents’ accomplishments!
Life Beyond has continued to add content to its alpha game over the past few months. But soon, the scheduled end of the alpha is approaching. And with it, a special after party. On October 12, 2022, anyone with a Life Beyond NFT key can join the party!
The content of Life Beyond is linked to the game’s story. As players complete missions, the human presence on Dolos expands. With this expansion comes new missions to gather resources, rescue stranded agents, and set up decontamination generators to eliminate the alien plague from areas surrounding the colony.
The colony expansion also brought new enemies, new weapon upgrades, and a particularly dangerous mission mode (Nightmare) for those who think they’re on top of their game. And in addition to developing new weapons, the colony has also created new outfits that offer better protection from the elements.
But, as they say, all work and no play makes Jack something. So the DEEP Agency is throwing a special party. Scheduled for October 12, the 24-hour event is open only to key holders. Details of the party are still under wraps.
We don’t know what happens after the party, but I would expect a temporary shutdown before the beta? Although we have seen some games go straight from alpha to beta, so it could go either way.
There’s still time to enjoy the rewards of alpha. Players can continue to complete missions until October 11.
How to play Life Beyond
Life Beyond is a free-to-play, play-and-earn MMORPG with a third-person view. In this game, players are citizens of the planet Dolos, an alien world around a distant star. During the alpha phase, players clear and defend land for the first colony. Along the way are many hostile wild animals, many of which look like giant alien cockroaches!
The story has progressed during the alpha, opening up new quests, enemies, and outfits. But there are still plenty of bugs to kill!
To play, sign up on their website, download the launcher, and you’re good to go! There are four classes to choose from, each with a different selection of weapons. Try them out in solo missions, then sign up for group missions to receive greater rewards. Players earn raffle tickets by completing missions, with winners sharing a pool of DOL tokens. Successful missions also count toward a community points goal, with a surprise reward for players at the end of the mission.
