Cross the Ages, a new trading card game, has released its game economy updates, including the benefits of holding CTA tokens and a community token presale. In addition, the CTA team recently posted a video on YouTube to explain how the game economy works in Cross the Ages.
In Cross the Ages, players collect unique NFT cards by completing quests. The dystopian fantasy world of Cross the Ages contains countless hidden NFT cards that players must find. The project has received investment from major companies like Ubisoft, Polygon and Animoca Brands.
Gold, Prana and CTA tokens
Before the game’s economy update, CTA had three currencies: Gold, Crystal and CTA. The developers have officially changed the name of the Gold currency to Trisel and the Crystal currency to Prana, as these names resemble the story of Cross The Ages. These three currencies have specific uses.
Prana is used to acquire off-chain assets such as paid cosmetics or chests, and Trisel is used for crafting and in-game transformation between assets such as free cosmetics. Finally, the CTA token is used for on-chain activities such as participating in electronic tournaments, minting coins and trading.
The only way to get CTA and Prana tokens is to purchase them. Players can also receive them at special events. Trisel cards, on the other hand, do not have to be purchased and can only be acquired by winning chests at the end of a game. The Prana token can be purchased in the game store and has a fixed value, while the CTA token can be purchased or converted into Prana. The price of the CTA token will remain at $0.5 until it goes on sale.
The CTA token pre-sale event
The CTA token pre-sale event will begin on September 23, 2022, when Cross The Ages: TCG Early Access is released. The pre-sale event will be limited to players who own pre-sale packs. Owners of presale packs will be able to purchase chests containing CTA tokens at a discounted price. There will be chests containing different quantities of CTA tokens, such as 100, 250, 500 and 1000. Players will be able to get a discount on only one of the chests.
The unit price of CTA chips will remain at $0.13, and the discount will be $0.50. The CTA token presale packs have been divided according to quantity, token drop, and the best chest to apply the discount.
The Standard, Apprentice, Disciple and Primus packs contain 2000, 10605, 2031 and 4884 chips respectively. The best chests to apply the discounts for the above packs will be 0, 500, 500, and 1000 CTA tokens respectively.
According to the CTA token purchase limit, players can purchase as many tokens as they want, but there is a cap determined by the open presale packs. For example, a Primus pack has a cap of 1500 CTA tokens, while Apprentice and Disciple packs have a cap of 600 and 750 CTA tokens.

Cross the Ages is an NFT trading card game where players compete in intense turn-based duels. Each match has an average duration of 5 minutes. The objective of the game is to conquer and control the maximum area of the battle arena. At the beginning of each game, both players have 20 digital cards. Then 10 cards are randomly selected to form the player’s deck, and the battle begins.
