Defi Kingdoms, the blockchain play-to-earn (P2E) game, has launched the long-awaited but never forgotten Multi-Questing feature. Players can now queue or claim multiple hero quests in a single transaction!
Defi Kingdoms’ Medium announced the update this week, and we’re all excited to finally see this update hit the market.
Defi Kingdoms Training Quests
DeFi Kingdoms is a blockchain play-to-earn game that uses role-playing game (RPG) elements in a retro art style with collectible NFTs and integrates with a decentralized exchange to trade digital assets.
Training quests are different activities that Heroes can perform in the game. Like profession quests, training quests do not require equipment. However, unlike profession quests, they have a chance of failure.
“There are eight training quests available for heroes, each corresponding to one of the eight main stats of a Hero. These are Armwrestling (STR), Darts (DEX), Ballplay (AGI), Dancing (END), Farming (VIT), Alchemist (INT), Riddle Solving (WIS), and Cardplay (LCK). Training quests are instantaneous, meaning they require an initial stamina cost and result in a reward after a short period of time.”
Hero Quests
The main purpose of heroes in the Defi Kingdoms universe is to go on quests and collect valuable items and experiences. The game has two categories of quests: Profession quests and training quests. Profession quests, as mentioned earlier, are non-combat oriented quests that allow you to learn and excel in various skills valuable to the realm.
Adventure quests in Defi Kingdoms require players to travel to distant lands with a team of heroes to fight and earn rewards.
Multiple quests
According to the latest news from Medium, multi-questing begins with a new set of buttons on the bottom left of the screen that allows players to access all the new features.
Quest List
The quest list allows players to access all of Crystalvale’s quests from one place. Users can click on “View Quest” to bring up the window for that particular quest, where they can select the Heroes of the quest as usual.
However, instead of selecting “Start Quest”, there is a new option “Queue Multiple Quests”, which will add this quest to the players’ quest queue and remove the visibility of the heroes in the hero selection window.
Multiple Quest Queueing
Once players have queued their quests, they can go to the Multiple Quest Queue to review them, delete the ones they don’t want to submit, and start the search.
When a player is satisfied with their quest selections, they can click “Submit All” and sign the transaction.
Active Quests
Use the new Active Quests window to review all quests, whether they are completed, in progress, or waiting to be started. From here, players can always collect quests individually or add them to the queue to complete them all at once.
Players can add quests to the queue individually or use the +/- buttons at the top to add multiple options. Once they are ready, players press “Complete all queued quests” and sign the transaction.
Once completed, the quest rewards will appear in a new window, with each quest on a separate page.
Fuel Limits
Processing multiple quests on the blockchain is very gas intensive. In addition, each block produced on the DFK chain has a limit of 30 million gas. Players use this gas for all transactions on the block.
When starting and completing multiple quests, players may have a lot of Heroes but may run into these gas limits, which will cause the transaction to fail immediately.
