Genopets has just dropped a flurry of updates to keep fans of the blockchain move-to-earn game excited. The updates took place at the recent public meeting and were followed by a status report.
The team tweeted, “Status report #016 is full of updates – perfect if you missed the public meeting. Even better if you want to see some of the details/goodies we couldn’t cover in the hour. “
The team then mentioned that they have updates on the recipe hunt rules, first looks at battle concepts, and new artwork to showcase.
Details on new Genopets scavenger hunt announced
The team also announced a brand new Genopets Scavenger Hunt that will take place on October 4. The scavenger hunt will launch at exactly 3 p.m. UTC and is open to everyone.
Players don’t need to have a habitat or game invite to participate, so it’s super inclusive if you just want to give it a try.
Also, there will be no limit to the number of winners for any given puzzle. Each time you complete a puzzle, you’ll have the opportunity to hit one of the missing pages in the Alkali crafting book.
You will also be able to access a legendary crafting lab where you can combine crystals, KI and Gene to craft random mystery items. But you’ll need to collect 5 pages, one from each week, and trade them to get your hands on the legendary crafting lab.
Potential items you’ll be able to craft include a legendary augmentation in the Genoverse, which will no longer be able to be crafted. There will also be a ton of other items never made before.
So dust off your detective skills and get ready to have some fun in the treasure hunt! The rewards are too good to miss, after all!
Genopets update: use all your energy before Monday or you’ll lose it.
Another important update to keep in mind is that Genopets is currently updating the game mechanics. Higher level Genopets will look cooler and receive more energy with each step.
But what does this mean for you in the short term? Basically, the energy conversion rate will be adjusted on Monday, so any unused energy you have accumulated will be reduced to match the new curve.
Before you panic, know that this doesn’t have to be a disaster! All you have to do is expend all your energy before Monday to level up your pet and collect key performance indicators in the process.
And even if you don’t manage to use all your energy in time for the new update, you’ll at least have an improved Genopet. So all is not lost!
Exciting updates for Genopet crafting, combat and habitats are coming soon.
Genopets announced some very exciting updates for crafting, combat, and habitats as part of its latest status report and general meeting. In fact, the team called these updates “the most exciting updates in the state of the game.”
But what are the highlights?
Well, the new crafting layout looks pretty cool! As you can see in the image above, the crafting gets a makeover to represent the team’s vision.
The habitats have also been improved. The team is looking to bring realism and depth to the Genopets’ home. They started by animating a breeze that allows the grass to sway in the wind.
But also, players can finally get a glimpse of what the battle mode will look like. The team revealed that the gameplay will be quite active and players will have the ability to defend their Genopets from attacks.
Genopets: What’s it all about?
If you haven’t heard of Genopets yet, you might want to consider giving it a try after seeing all these great updates. Genopets is an NFT (Free-to-play, move-to-earn) mobile game that aims to make it fun to move more and live a more active lifestyle.
Players get a Genopet whose evolution and growth is linked to yours. You must complete a number of stages to fuel your Genoverse journey and explore, fight and evolve in this new game – all while earning crypto as you play.
Genopets is a bit like Tamagotchi and STEPN getting together and having a baby. Be sure to check it out if you’re interested in the move-to-earn movement.
Other important updates have also been made. For example, the animations of the Genpopets’ pet emotions have been updated. A few items, such as knotty toys, teething toys, milk and dragon fruit for picky Genopets, have also been introduced.
