Illuvium, the first AAA blockchain-based, community-driven video game, has announced 40+ exclusive Illuvium leaks. Grant Warwick, co-founder of Illuvium Showcase, shared these exclusive leaks in an interview with Andrew Wall on Illuvium’s YouTube channel. In addition, Grant highlighted the latest images from inside Illuvium Game Studio.
Among the exclusive Illuvium leaks are Mozart skins for each alluvium, a female ranger, stickers, tunnel systems, and more.
Exclusive Illuvium leaks
In the interview with Andrew, Grant first talked about the skins. The Mozart and Rhamphyre skins for the alluviums with a cool color contrast. Also, they were well detailed with perfect stylization. This is the result of the team’s passion for building the game.
He also talked about the female ranger and the burn mechanics they put in place with a limited supply of characters. He said that this differentiates their game from others and is a great thing for their economy.
Stickers were also mentioned in the discussion. Other leaks mentioned were humanoid characters, sanctum mesa (pre-crash landing), which is an environment in the game, tunnel system, crystal shore battle boards, sculpting in the shard bluff area, terrain, and others.
Grant also wants Sancta mesa to have some sort of modern next-gen simulation or something, but that’s still a work in progress.
He also talked about technical updates to the game. Those updates were made by Gizu, a member of the Illuvium team. According to Grant, “He is implementing procedural simulation on the plants. The end goal is to make every plant in the game interactive,” Grant added that “it will make their game unique, and that’s something a lot of studios don’t do because it’s very difficult and the plants are going to play a bigger role in their game.”
Grant, however, talked about visual effects (VFX) animation by Peter, a Russian freak of nature. He simulates Houdini and then implements it in the game. It’s still a work in progress without the final shaders on the water.
There are also VFX for the NFTs, so obviously each character has their own unique VFX and features. These are from Jesse.
He then explained how a wave simulation would be useful through a video. The wave will be added to the shoreline so it won’t be static and will look amazing.

According to Grant in the interview, he said, “It’s a lot of work, but like I said, as a team, we’ve cut out so many assets that we’re now getting to the fun stuff that’s the collectable side of things, and the beautiful thing is that because the teams have cut out all the assets needed for the game so quickly, they can spend time and do these things cleanly.”
The team is also working on the texture of the characters’ eyes. The team is working hard to make them flawless, as co-founder and art director Grant himself said, “The eyes are the window to the soul, so we have to make them perfect.”
Illuvium is an open world RPG adventure game on the Ethereum blockchain while using Immutable X. Players traverse a vast and varied landscape to hunt and capture all sorts of creatures, the “illuvials”. With their little creatures, players must discover what caused the cataclysm that shattered the world.
From a gameplay point of view, players must capture creatures. At the start, there are already over 100 Illuvials to find and capture. Each monster has different attributes and powers. There are also different classes and abilities. Capture them, upgrade them, and combine two Iluvials to form a new one.
Players can earn ILV tokens by playing and become part of the community by owning tokens.
Players can store their Illuvials on “Shards”, like a trading card. These cards contain the essence of an Illuvial. You can trade the shards on the market or give them to a friend.
