In an effort to create more engaging services for players, popular online gaming company Illuvium is offering a brand new update.
A few weeks after the arrival of the highly anticipated Survival Arena Private Beta 2, Illuvium has announced plans to give away an entry to 500 lucky winners. The announcement, which was made today, aims to encourage the platform’s user community to enter a puzzle for free. If there are 500 lucky winners, they will get access to the recently launched Private Beta 2.
Private Beta 2 is an upgrade to Private Beta 1. And it has tons of new features. With this update, Illuvium is looking to improve the overall gameplay for its users, offering them fresher experiences on its platform.
Accessing the Private Beta 2
Players who have owned Private Beta 1 will automatically have access to Private Beta 2. But to do so, they must install and download a new version of the game and log in to their Illuvium account. In addition, after installing PB2, players must delete the folder containing their old PB1 game files.
In an effort to provide a more exciting gameplay experience, significant adjustments have been made to virtually every section of the game. Illuvium Private Beta 2 now offers greater challenges than Private Beta 1, including an experiment that measures participants’ ability to overcome obstacles.
Strategies in Illuvium 2’s private arena beta
While significant improvements have been made to virtually every Illuvium, changes have also been made to the overall game mechanics. Notable additions include checkpoints, auguries, and links. In addition, synergies offer unique stats and benefits. By linking to an Illuvial, a player’s ranger can access their dominant synergy and receive a composite synergy.
Today, players compete to see who can survive the most battles. However, with recent updates such as unit placement, special powers, synergies, augmentations, and bonding, players can use different strategies.
- Checkpoints: As in traditional games, checkpoints allow players to start over if they lose rounds rather than starting over. There is also an option to quit, which is useful for players who feel they can no longer progress. The decision will be recorded in the daily leaderboards. In addition, checkpoints are located every five levels.
- Increases: Illusions are linked to augmentations that give them new skills. Players can use augmentations to strengthen an Illuvial’s weak points, increase their arsenal, or improve their innate abilities. They can also be recalled by dragging them off the playing field. This will refund their purchase price and any associated augmentations.
- Shortcut Keys: Arenas require quick judgment and therefore there are many shortcut keys to assist players. The use of these keys improves the overall gameplay of players and prevents them from running out of time. In addition, they can be very helpful in defeating opponents.
How to earn
By participating in quests, players will be rewarded for their success. However, they must have the ILV token before playing a game, as this is one of its functions. Once allowed, players can start acquiring additional assets in the form of NFTs to increase their chances of succeeding in challenges.
The earning aspect of the game is similar to the traditional Temple Run game in that instant rewards are earned by completing each challenge or level. However, in this case, the rewards earned can be monetized.
Another interesting aspect of the game are the tournaments where huge prizes are awarded to the winners. The prizes can be reinvested or liquidated depending on the type of chips they receive.
