Mobland has announced the launch of scalable digital weed farms as part of their NFT 3.0 release. The grow-and-win digital weed farms NFTs are a first in the metaverse game space. Grass is an in-game asset that can be used to upgrade digital grass farms that can then be used to produce in-game goods and generate passive income.
In MOBLAND, NFT 1.0 is for characters and individual objects, NFT 2.0 is for land and real estate, and NFT 3.0 is for businesses and utilities in addition to land and real estate. The announcement came a few months after rapper Snoop Dogg collaborated with MOBLAND to introduce digital weed farms into the metaverse as NFTs. In addition, the platform will host branded digital weed farms and exclusive content from his son Champ Medici. MOBLAND is a mafia-themed blockchain metaverse game based on the history of the mafia. blockchain Ethereumwhere players are gangsters and own their own mafia organization.
What is a digital weed farm?
Weed Farms are MOBLAND’s first revenue-generating business license. Farm owners can grow weed and plant seeds on the farms to produce products sold in the MOBLAND ecosystem and generate revenue. There are several businesses in the MOBLAND metaverse. Business owners (grass farm owners) strategize and attract SEED farmers to deposit SEEDs into their businesses. In this way, farm owners generate income. In addition, players can earn money by running farms and earning grass in the game or by lending farms to other players and getting a share of the grass.
Digital Weed Farms runs on grass or dirt. Weed Farm owners must pay rent to SEED Turflords through a rental system. After renting a turf, farmers can set up their farms on the rented turf to make them operational. Farmers must pay a certain amount of SEED for seeding to get the farms up and running. Taxes will also be levied on the finished products generated by the farms.
Farm owners can also rent greenhouses by submitting an agricultural lease agreement. The greenhouses can be used for the duration of the lease agreement. Farms can also be used to produce crops and participate in PvP and PvE activities.
Digital Farm Attributes
Digital Farm NFTs have four attributes: Primary, Appearance, Statistical, and Consumption. The primary attribute defines the rarities, types, and levels of the farms, the statistical attribute defines the production and storage capacities of the farms, the appearance attribute defines the appearance of the farm, and the consumption attribute tells us how much grass should be consumed by a farm.
The developers have published the characteristics of the Primary and Statistical attributes. However, the game developers have not yet shared the details of the Appearance and Consumption attributes.
Primary attributes
The first attribute that falls under the primary attributes is the following Rarity. There are five different rarities: common, rare, epic, uncommon and legendary. The rarities have been divided according to size, area and greenhouses. Therefore, the higher the rarity, the larger the size and area will be.
The Type of a farm determines the crops that can be generated on the farm. Currently, only digital weed farms have been introduced in the first phase. This means that only weeds can be grown on these farms.
The site Level is an evolving parameter in Mobland. As the level increases, the weed production rate, total weed production, maximum storage capacity, hit points and defender attribute bonus increase. The starting level is level 1 and can be upgraded to level 10 by using grass in the game. The style and appearance of the farm also improves with each level.
Statistical Attributes
The statistical attributes include several parameters that will help farm owners build farms. These parameters are as follows:
- Number of greenhouses
- Weed production
- Storage
- Crop duration
- Defender’s attribute bonus
- Life points
- Resellable level
- Status
Depending on scarcity, a farm has a fixed number of greenhouses. These greenhouses are independent and can be used for fractional borrowing. Growing time is the time it takes a farm to generate grass. This time can be decreased by increasing the level of the farms.
The Grass Production parameter tells us how much grass can be produced during a growing period. On the other hand, the Seed Consumption parameter defines the number of seeds that must be planted in a greenhouse to grow weed. The claim level is used to indicate the amount of weed that can be claimed relative to the total amount of weed stored on a farm. Hit points or HP represent the amount of damage a farm can take if attacked. Finally, the Status parameter tells us whether the farm is active or in ruins. Active indicates that the farm is able to produce grass. A destroyed farm, on the other hand, means that it has been damaged and has no HP left.
What is Mobland?
Mobland is the first-ever meta-versus-mafia syndicate role-playing game in which players fight other mafia networks, loot, build and run criminal organizations and manage businesses. The game features both PvE and PvP modes in a free-to-play model.
PvE gameplay includes environment-based missions where players must fight rival gangs and conquer their lands. In PvP mode, there are asynchronous battles involving AI-assigned union members assigned by the defending player. In addition, players can participate in various in-game activities, such as ranking events, syndicate events, daily events, PvP missions, and earn rewards.
Mobland’s official governance token is SYNR or SYNNERS, a token based on ERC20. SYNR allows players to purchase in-game assets as part of the marketplace initiative, earn additional rewards, or upgrade in-game characters. In addition, players can wager SYNR tokens to participate in governance decisions.
