Among the most popular digital projects in the world, STEPN’s name always comes up, especially in the move-to-earn space. And since its inception, the platform has been dedicated to aligning its features, upgrades and updates with the interests of its users. This is evident in the recent user-focused projects launched by STEPN.
Along with many other upcoming projects, the popular move-to-earn platform has announced that a new feature, $GMT earning, will be rolled out in the STEPN app in 24 hours. While this is one of the ways users can earn money on the STEPN platform, it is intended for users with level 30 sneakers. In other words, interested users must upgrade their sneakers to level 30.
Without a doubt, STEPN is one of the biggest move-to-earn projects you can find. This is due to its amazing launches, including the Burger Burn Challenge, the Best Running Friends Forever challenge, the It’s A Movement campaign and many more. In addition, the platform has contributed to spaces such as NFTs and climate change. And that makes it a great project to join.
STEPN $GMT Gain
This new feature aims to give the STEPN user community a higher grade. This way, they will be better connected to the platform while enjoying different types of games. This will not only keep them engaged, but also reward them for their loyalty to STEPN. GMT’s win will begin on September 27, 2022.
To participate, users – who wish to do so – must either upgrade their sneakers to level 30 or purchase new level 30 sneakers. Obviously, level 30 sneakers attract more rewards than lower level sneakers. Next, you need to switch from GST gain mode to GMT mode. This change is possible in all realms of the game.
By switching to GMT earning mode, STEPN rewards its user community on a better scale. In addition, there will be a well-designed balance between the two modes (GST and GMT) so that each mode can support the other. In this way, any side with impressive performance can benefit the other.
In addition, the GMT gain is intended to reflect the capabilities of STEPN, presenting the platform as a super application. This will also create a standardized flow of utilities through the platform. Across all domains, the feature is fair because no one domain has an advantage over the others, allowing for cumulative GMT gains.
With the introduction of the GMT win mode, 4 pools will be available. These pools are well designed to suit all levels of Sneakers. The four pools are as follows: Classic Pool, Rainbow Pool, Rainbow Plus Pool and Schadenfreude Pool. The Classic Pool is open to all sneakers, regardless of their level. On the other hand, the Schadenfreude Pool is designed for the upcoming Rainbow Sneakers series.
In detail, the classic pool is designed for classic sneakers. These can gain 20% GMT per day. The Rainbow Pool is designed for Rainbow Sneakers, which can gain 30% GMT per day. Similarly, Rainbow Plus Sneakers belong to the Rainbow Plus Pool. Here, users can earn 50% GMT per day. The Schadenfreude Pool is for the Rainbow Infinite Sneakers. Its details will be published in the future.
GMT winning sneakers
In addition to the 4 pools created, there are 4 generations under which sneakers are classified. These are Generation 0, Generation 1, Generation 2 and Generation 3. Generation 0 and Generation 1 are respectively the classic sneakers and the rainbow sneakers. Similarly, Rainbow Plus belong to Generation 2, while Rainbow Infinite are classified as Generation 3. The next series of Rainbow Sneakers will be available in the future.
According to STEPN, all Rainbow series sneakers are trainers, moving at a speed between 1 and 20 km/h. The energy consumption is the same for all models. The energy consumption rate is the same for all Rainbow Series sneakers. So the sneakers will have no luck, no resilience, no comfort, no efficiency. But they will have 100% HP and once exhausted, will render the sneakers useless. Moreover, the HP reduction rate is the same for all sneakers in the Rainbow series.
In addition, the Rainbow sneakers do not have any coining, leveling or repair functions. This is to simplify the game as too many features could make it more complex. In addition, each Rainbow Series sneaker has 4 slots for Rainbow gems. If users want to remove the gems, they can burn them.
How to get Rainbow Series Sneakers
Currently, common and uncommon sneakers are the only assets that can help users to get rainbow sneakers. In fact, upgrading a 5-in-1 sneaker can get any sneaker from the Rainbow series.
To get a rainbow sneaker, users can upgrade 5 common sneakers to 1. This will produce a double upgrade to a rare sneaker, after which the chance to get a rainbow sneaker is created. Similarly, upgrading 5 uncommon sneakers to 1 will produce a double upgrade to an epic sneaker. Here, there is a chance to get a Rainbow Plus sneaker.
However, an Infinite Rainbow sneaker is currently unavailable. How to get it will be announced at a later date. Unlike common and uncommon sneakers, not all Rainbow sneakers can work with the 5-in-1 sneaker upgrade feature, and the cap for Mint>=2 has been removed.
Rainbow gems are unique assets that can be added to the Rainbow sneaker slots. The main idea of these gems is to increase the GMT earning capacity of a sneaker. Therefore, they cannot be used to upgrade sneakers, and are not intended for trading on the market.
To hit a rainbow gem of a particular level, users must upgrade 3 gems of the same category. However, the gem struck will be of the same level as the sneaker in question. Rainbow gems will be released in the future, with details to come. For now, users are free to upgrade their gems, but these upgrades will not allow hitting rainbow gems until the announcement is made.
A brief summary
In summary, pools will be launched systematically, with the classic pool leading the others. During the launch of the classic pool, users can earn 20% of GMT per day. Similarly, in the Rainbow and Rainbow Plus pools, they can earn 30% and 50% respectively. The 5-in-1 Common Sneaker upgrade to Rainbow and Rainbow Pool will be launched simultaneously. Similarly, the 5-in-1 Uncommon Rainbow upgrade and Rainbow Plus Pool will be launched together.
In addition, information about the Rainbow Infinite Sneakers and Schadenfreude Pool will be announced at a later date. Finally, upgrading Gems or 5-in-1 Sneakers will not result in an upgrade to Rainbow Gems or Rainbow Series Sneakers respectively.
