What are mercenaries?
Mercenaries are the key elements of Eternal Paradox. They can be used to explore the world of Elysium, fight enemies and reinforce allies in battle. Players can explore the land using Mercenaries, then attack other bases to achieve glory. A single player can hold several Mercenaries. You can use them to travel to a location and conquer other castles. Mercenaries defend their own castle and can perform tasks such as arena fights that can only be accessed through the castle.
Silver Points
Silver points are rewards collected when a player uses a mercenary to perform tasks. The points are automatically added to the money pouch of each mercenary. All mercenaries have this money pouch. At the end of the day, the total amount of money points collected by each mercenary is compared to the total amount of money points collected by all mercenaries to decide the daily rewards. Therefore, the maximum amount of silver points that can be stored in a pouch depends on each Mercenary.
Adventure Mode
Mercenaries can be used to fight in Adventure Mode. The turn-based battles are of increasing difficulty, and players must fight more powerful enemies on each level. In addition, players must strategize and select the four best mercenaries. Prizes and rewards also increase with each level of Adventure mode.
Arena Combat
In the Arena, players compete against other players in team mercenary battles and climb the leaderboard. A new arena season takes place every two weeks. The Arena Battle mode is turn-based and asynchronous, so players do not fight in real time.
Players who win an arena battle receive points that can be used to redeem rewards. At the end of a season, the player with the highest rank receives greater rewards. Since this mode is asynchronous, players must select a roster of four of the best mercenaries to defend the castle from attack.
Players must consume action points for the mercenaries they use when attacking an enemy. Once the Mercenaries reach the target, an automatic battle is started, and the best team wins the battle. To win these battles, players must train and upgrade the Mercenaries’ abilities.
Securing Resources
Mercenaries can be used to collect resources by defeating enemies. Players can loot equipment, materials and other resources needed to build castles. You can not only collect resources by defeating enemies, but also by venturing to various farms, mines and other landmarks on the map. Collecting a resource requires mercenaries to spend a certain amount of time in that area, making them vulnerable to attack.
