The new and highly anticipated move-to-earn application Step App, is now in public beta. The app is now available in beta! Let’s find out more about this exciting news, and what new updates we have!
What is Step App?
Step App is a job search assistance app that is set to launch publicly in December. The app has just implemented an onboarding process for friend referrals to encourage new users to sign up. This process will last until the end of October 31.
The FitFi industry is a huge success, being a $100 billion industry. Step App aims to become the most dominant FitFi app in the metaverse. With such a comprehensive and well-built app, Step App aims to engage fitness influencers and athletes in the platform. This is an aggressive tactic, as we wrote about in a previous article, but one that could be extremely successful. By involving professional athletes and influencers, users are likely to take the app more seriously and engage with the FitFi aspects of the app.
Step App allows users to earn $FITFI cryptocurrency tokens and KCAL tokens. Step App’s token economy includes staking, liquidity incentives and staking tokens. The $FITFI tokens are the governance token, benefiting from the ecosystem fee. KCAL tokens are gaming tokens and can be used to purchase SNEAKs, and can be earned by staking a SNEAK.
